Combilift wins third Red Dot award
Irish manufacturer Combilift, a global leader in multi-directional and customised handling solutions, has won the 2025 Red Dot Award for Product Design for its Combi-CB70E – a high-capacity, electric-powered forklift designed for sustainable, heavy-duty long-load handling.
This marks Combilift’s third Red Dot win, following awards for the Combi-WR and Combi-CB4. The CB70E impressed judges with its ergonomic design, environmental performance, and ability to boost operator comfort and productivity in tough industrial environments.
CEO and co-founder Martin McVicar said: “We’re proud to receive our third Red Dot for the CB70E. Our team is committed to delivering safe, high-performing electric solutions that reflect excellence in industrial design.”
The 7-tonne, multi-directional Combi-CB70E features Combilift’s patented Independent Traction Control System and large rubber tyres for all-terrain, zero-emission operation. A spacious cab with floor-to-ceiling glazing and an Auto Swivel Seat enhances visibility and ergonomics, supporting operator comfort during long shifts.
This award caps a standout year for Combilift, which also earned Product of the Year and Ergonomics Awards at the UKMHA Archies, as well as accolades for design and leadership at the UK’s Engineering & Manufacturing Awards.
