With a wide-range of opportunities appealingl to the Irish marketplace, Furniture Component Expo takes place at the Telford Internation Centre, on March 11th and 12th, 2026.

Of particular note is the ability for exhibitors to ‘plug in and go’ with a modular style exhibition space that is constructed and ready to use, without the cost and logistics of set-building required.

The central location, at Telford, also ensures easy access from Birmingham International Airport, as well as the Holyhead Ferry port.

An emerging success story

Phil Spademan (pictured) MD of the British Furniture Association which runs FCE 26, said: “The event provides opportunities for component and service suppliers to develop new markets with leading furniture manufacturers, meeting decision makers, buyers, designers and production teams.

“Since we launched the show in 2024, we’ve seen it go from strength to strength.

“Our first two expos at Telford International Centre have been a great success and in part that is thanks to the excellent location and amazing team at this fantastic venue, which lends itself well as a destination for visitors from Ireland.

“In 2026, we will feature even more exhibitors, and also broaden the scope to include panels, hinges and fittings suitable for use in the production and installation of kitchens and bathrooms.

“The event’s profile increasingly makes it of interest to those in the Irish component sector, not only in kitchen and bathroom, but across the wider industry, who are looking to reach new audiences.

“Offering a one-stop-shop opportunity, FCE 26 enables manufacturers to review, network and purchase products from leading suppliers, all under one roof.

“The event’s ability to attract decision-makers from across different sectors ensures that conversations have the potential to open doors.”

A wide-range of features

Networking is also a vital part of FCE 26, and the BFA has built in space and opportunities for guests to meet in comfortable settings.

The expo also features a seminar theatre where exhibitors and visitors can gain industry insights on a range of topics from the environment to fire retardant legislation.

And a new addition for 2026 is The Innovation Trail, which will showcase the most forward-thinking products in the furniture industry.

Sponsored by Blum Group, this new feature gives exhibitors the opportunity to shine a light on genuine innovation and capture the attention of buyers at the show.

The Innovation Trail is a showcase for a product that’s less than 18 months old, making its first appearance at FCE 26, and demonstrates real innovation that meets the needs of the industry. Successful entries will enjoy enhanced visibility at the event, including a floor sticker in front of their stand marked “We’re in the Innovation Trail,” a highlighted position on the floorplan and in the official show guide, plus additional promotion through PR and social media activity.

Phil Spademan added: “With an action packed agenda for the show in 2026, our message to Irish companies that supply the furniture industry with components, software, machinery, timber and anything else, is that they should consider attending.

“Exhibiting will provide their organisation with the opportunity to meet the decision makers face to face in the manufacturing industry, while individuals involved in the manufacturing of furniture who are looking for the latest products, services, machinery and technology will find the event a great place to visit.”

The Furniture Component Expo 2026 is made possible through the support of sponsors BeA Group and Carpenter Ltd. Furniture & Joinery Production magazine also returns as the expo’s official media partner, sponsoring the seminar theatre and drinks reception.
