New ABS edgings with end grain décor
Ostermann launches matched ABS edging for Unilin Master Oak boards
The Master Oak decors by Unilin are especially attractive due to a look and feel that is virtually indistinguishable from real oak wood or veneer. To continue this real wood look at the edges, Ostermann offers matching ABS edgings with long grain or end grain decors.
The Master Oak decors by Unilin are not only impressive due to their sophisticated aesthetic, but have also won multiple design awards. Ostermann’s offering helps to ensure that carpenters/cabinet makers are able to use these true-to-life surfaces in accordance with a sustainable interior design concept.
For the long edge of the furniture board, Ostermann recommends the long grain edging, and for the short edge the end grain variant. Of course you can also use both versions on all four sides of the board.
Ostermann supplies all edgings in small quantities upwards of one metre and in many different standard widths. Additionally, it can individually cut any 100 mm edging down to your specified dimensions.
Those wishing to process edging with modern zero bondline technologies will have no issues. For processing with laser, hot air or Near Infrared (NIR) technology, Ostermann coats the furniture edgings with a TPU zero bondline coating that is perfectly matched to the respective technology.
