That growing awareness is particularly evident within the education sector. According to Fintan, third-level institutions have become increasingly conscious of the importance of properly specified extraction systems, while many second-level schools continue to face significant budget constraints.
“I have received tenders where we simply cannot quote because the available budget is too low to deliver a system that meets the technical and safety specification specification properly,” he explains. “Unfortunately, essential safety features such as spark detection and other protection systems are often beyond budget, and that creates a real problem. It took time for the third-level sector to reach this point, so I believe second-level schools will follow as awareness continues to grow.”
He believes automation will become an increasingly important consideration within education as well.
“Automatic painting isn’t something the education sector has really embraced yet, but with factory automation becoming increasingly important across industry, I believe that’s something we’ll see develop significantly over the next 12 to 18 months.”

“Another major benefit is the reduction in heating costs through air recycling. By returning clean air to the factory during the winter months, businesses retain valuable heat that would otherwise be lost, resulting in substantial energy savings. The combination of negative pressure and automatic inverter technology has also proven to generate significant cost savings over time.”

“We knew what the technology was capable of before installation, but the outcomes have exceeded both our expectations and those of our customers. With automatic paint lines, the benefits go well beyond paint optimisation. Customers also achieve a much higher and more consistent quality standard, which becomes the benchmark across the factory.”
